Job Summary
As a member of the Eastern Europe sales team, you will play a key role in supporting and developing our ecommerce business for Rapid Tools across Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Romania, and Hungary. Your main focus will be to help our current ecommerce customers and business partners grow and succeed, while also looking for new opportunities where they make sense. You will work with the region’s leading marketplaces—including Allegro, Alza, eMAG, Empik, Pepita, and others - as well as selected B2C and B2B ecommerce platforms.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Sales Director Eastern Europe and connect with our international ecommerce teams in Western Europe. You’ll also have the chance to exchange ideas and coordinate with colleagues from Customer Service, Marketing, and Key Account Management in Poland, Czechia, Romania, France, and Sweden, ensuring our ecommerce activities are well aligned and effective.
Responsibilities
- Support, develop, and help maximize the potential of our existing ecommerce customers and business partners (both direct and via distributors) across all relevant channels and platforms.
- Identify and develop new ecommerce opportunities and partnerships where they support our strategic growth.
- Drive and grow Rapid Tools’ ecommerce presence on key marketplaces and with selected partners in Eastern Europe.
- Execute agreed ecommerce activities with major DIY customers (e.g., Castorama, Leroy Merlin, OBI, Bricoman) and selected omni PRO customers in the region.
- Work with agencies and partners to create and optimize product content for online channels, using the latest tools and AI-driven solutions (SEO, rich media, etc.).
- Coordinate digital advertising campaigns (Allegro Ads, Empik Ads, eMAG Ads, etc.), help manage budgets, and monitor results.
- Develop and execute account sales & marketing plans in line with business goals, maximizing return on investment.
- Analyze performance data to spot opportunities, optimize campaigns, and share insights with the team.
- Maintain attractive and competitive offers for end customers, supporting distributors in pricing and promotional programs.
- Spend at least 50% of your time in direct contact with customers (online and/or offline), building relationships and understanding their needs.
- Share best practices and collaborate with international ecommerce colleagues.
- Test new tools and ideas to keep Rapid Tools ahead in ecommerce.
- (If needed) Support the Sales Director in agreed offline activities with selected OMNI PRO customers in Poland.
Qualifications
- University degree (business, marketing, economics or similar).
- Some experience (1–3 years) in ecommerce, digital marketing, or working with online marketplaces - what matters most is your drive to learn and grow!
- Curiosity and openness to new technologies, including AI-powered tools for content, analytics, and campaign management.
- Analytical mindset and comfort working with data (Excel, marketplace analytics, etc.).
- Strong communication skills in English (Polish or another CEE language is a plus).
- Positive, proactive attitude - ready to take initiative and deliver results in a changing environment.
- Team spirit and willingness to collaborate across countries and functions.
- Interest in DIY, tools, or consumer products is welcome, but not a must.
